Senior Quantity Surveyor

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Chelmsford office. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, coordinating with clients and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- MRICS status is preferred, although not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
