Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Nurse to join our team at a primary school in Southwark. As a Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and attention to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Nursery Nurse with a relevant diploma or degree.
  • Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
  • Enhanced DBS registration on the update service.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
