Job Description

**Job Title:** HGV Fitter

**Company:** Black Fox Solutions

**Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced HGV Fitter to join our team. As an HGV Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that vehicles are maintained and repaired to roadworthy standard at all times.
  • Work on the servicing of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure housekeeping within the workshop is maintained to a high standard.
  • Ensure that vehicle emissions are compliant with current emissions regulations.
  • Record and document vehicle damage and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and take vehicles for MOT testing in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain and repair plant and equipment operated by departments to operational and Health and Safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified with experience in a similar role, to include heavy vehicles.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in HGV maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
