Position Overview

Lead Fund Accountant, Family Office, Competitive Salary, Flexible Working Options

Trace - Expert Accountancy Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent Family Office seeking to onboard a Lead Fund Accountant to enhance their financial team. This role will report directly to the Finance Controller and will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial integrity of their private equity and hedge fund operations.

Key Responsibilities


• Execute monthly and quarterly portfolio valuations encompassing various asset classes, including hedge funds and private equity.


• Prepare and scrutinize annual financial statements while liaising with external auditors during the audit cycle.


• Conduct essential accounting functions on a monthly basis.


• Generate monthly financial analysis reports to aid in strategic decision-making.


• Establish and enforce comprehensive financial controls and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills


• Must possess a recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA) with prior experience in Audit.


• Familiarity with fund structures and financial modeling is advantageous.


• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational capabilities are essential.
