About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Meter Reader to join our team at Greenbean. As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible for collecting data from gas, electric, and water meters, using a hand-held electronic device and other equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is self-motivated to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect data from meters using a hand-held electronic device and other equipment
  • Ensure customers receive accurate and up-to-date bills
  • Plan and manage your workload independently to achieve targets set by your field delivery manager
  • Report any dangerous meter installations or suspected signs of tampering
  • Work to targets and under pressure to meet deadlines
Requirements
  • Approachable, presentable, and polite with excellent customer service skills
  • Physically fit due to the nature of the role
  • Ability to plan and manage workload independently
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work to timescales and under pressure
  • Friendly personality with a professional approach to work
  • Pass screening and vetting standards and pass a DBS check
