About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Novus Property Solutions. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our property maintenance and refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor contract progress and assess changes that may affect project costs and timelines.
  • Liaise with Contract Managers to establish project specifications and requirements.
  • Value and authorize payments to subcontractors.
  • Assist in controlling contract budgets.
  • Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts for designated projects.
  • Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to clients.
  • Prepare monthly valuation reports.
  • Submit invoices for certified value and ensure timely payments.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings with colleagues and clients, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Assist in developing the procurement program.
  • Assist in preparing, processing, and selecting estimates, bids, and tenders.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in the social housing sector. You will have excellent attention to detail, great written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient in MS Office. A full UK driving license is also essential for this role.
