The Position:

As an Aircraft Dispatch Manager, if you have a passion for the aviation sector and airside operations, possess the ability to manage multiple tasks, engage with diverse teams, and advocate for our customers, this role may be ideal for you.

The successful candidate will demonstrate operational expertise, be comfortable engaging with both customers and colleagues, and possess a strong business acumen. You will collaborate with various teams to uphold the exceptional service standards our customers expect, leading by example while adhering to safety and security protocols. Additionally, you will ensure our operations remain agile and responsive to any challenges.

Note: This position requires full-time availability during the training phase, which lasts approximately six months. Flexible or part-time arrangements may be considered thereafter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and security standards on a daily basis.
  • Oversee performance and punctuality of flights and airside zones.
  • Lead customer gate teams, ramp turnaround teams, onboard teams, and third-party partners to meet operational requirements.
  • Conduct oversight and audits of aircraft to ensure compliance with delivery standards.
  • Manage responses to disruptions within airside zones and across the broader operational campus.
  • Lead and support emergency response initiatives at the station.

What You Bring:

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Operational experience is preferred.
  • Resilience under pressure with fluctuating time, resource, and demand parameters.
  • Strong report writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Your Qualifications:

  • Possession of a full UK category B driving license for manual vehicles with no more than three penalty points.
  • Ability to successfully complete an airside driving test and obtain the necessary license.
  • Capability to pass a basic DBS check.
  • A responsible approach to safety and security in a demanding environment.
  • Successful completion of training and shadowing periods.
  • Able to work a shift pattern that includes various times, including nights.
