Pharmacy Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our pharmacy team as a Trainee Dispenser. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care and support, ensuring patients feel informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
• Work towards delivering technical aspects of the dispensary, including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
• Comply with legal and professional requirements, as well as accepted guidance on professional practice in Boots.
• Engage with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.
• Contribute to efficient dispensary operations and minimize dispensing losses.

Requirements:

• Prepared to work towards an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services.
• Passion for customer care and ability to build excellent relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to advise patients with confidence and accuracy, while remaining customer-focused.
• Opportunity to develop your healthcare knowledge and skills, with support towards achieving NVQ Level 3 (QCF) qualification in Pharmacy Services.
