Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Sports Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the student's college life experience by creating, managing and delivering an engaging sports enrichment programme.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sports enrichment programme that encourages students from a range of curriculum areas to be actively involved.
  • Collaborate and coordinate a range of sporting events in line with competition calendars and recruitment programmes.
  • Manage the Performance and Excellence pathways by supporting with recruitment, administration, fixtures/competitions and player/athlete development.
  • Work with external coaches/clubs, external organisations, internal coaches, and our academic delivery team to deliver a high-quality sports programme.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive college culture that values diversity and promotes student well-being.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in sports development, management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
