Staffline Express is Seeking a Dedicated Supply Chain/Purchasing Administrator

This is a permanent, full-time position with a day shift schedule, operating Monday through Friday, with an early finish on Fridays.

Role Overview:
As a key member of the Purchasing team, you will play a vital role in a manufacturing setting. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating the flow of information and deliveries from various suppliers to ensure alignment with business performance metrics.
  • Meeting business requirements concerning quality, cost, and timely delivery of procured products.
  • Managing all workflow aspects related to the Raw Material Purchasing operations.
  • Expediting activities and items with approved vendors to fulfill manufacturing needs as defined by the Raw Materials Manager.
  • Regularly liaising with suppliers to ensure their performance meets company expectations.
  • Maintaining accurate information and monitoring overall vendor performance.
  • Communicating relevant information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Representing the department in meetings and adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Proactively identifying and implementing corrective action plans when schedules deviate from targets.
  • Monitoring and reporting on supplier capabilities.
  • Expediting purchase orders to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Addressing potential shortages, missed or late deliveries, and resolving discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Reviewing overdue orders and notifying stakeholders of significant delays.
  • Assisting with product replenishment to align inventory levels with customer needs.

Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, candidates should possess:
  • A background in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in IT, ideally with a relevant qualification.
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
  • A polite yet assertive telephone manner.
  • A positive attitude with the drive to achieve results.
  • A full driving license is preferable but not mandatory.

Compensation:
The salary for this role ranges from £22,600 to £23,500, commensurate with experience.

In addition, you will receive 25 days of holiday along with other benefits.
