Cedar is seeking an IT Systems Infrastructure Lead for a vibrant IT organization. This role is crucial for the business and can be filled on either a permanent or interim basis.
The position is office-based and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the organization's IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, networks, storage solutions, and cybersecurity measures.
- Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring effective management of IT projects, systems, and support services.
- Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies that align with the company's objectives.
- Work with various departments to identify their IT requirements and develop solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Establish and enforce infrastructure policies, procedures, and best practices to guarantee system reliability, security, and performance.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Monitor and analyze IT infrastructure performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary upgrades.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and security standards, implementing measures to safeguard the organization's data and IT assets.
- Prepare and manage the IT infrastructure budget, including forecasting future needs and costs.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and WSUS server architecture.
- Experience in day-to-day IT support and helpdesk operations.
- Familiarity with key software applications such as Jet, PowerBi, and legacy systems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity setups, including Cisco Duo MFA, Crowd Strike, and penetration testing.
- Experience with VEEAM backup solutions for servers and cloud services.
- Familiarity with 8. 8*8 soft phone systems.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of four years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a solid understanding of server management, networking, and cloud technologies. Additionally, familiarity with storage solutions and network architecture, as well as knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection regulations, is essential.
Excellent communication skills are vital, as collaboration with the leadership team will be a significant aspect of the role.
