Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Avionic Systems Clearance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating flight clearance documentation, evaluating certification evidence, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to secure independent assessments and approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate flight clearance documentation, including SQS, NCQC, and ADOM, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Evaluate available certification evidence to determine support for clearance, address any shortfalls, and present findings for formal sign-off.
- Identify and track clearance dependencies, collaborating with Avionic Joint Team and AVS Sub System teams to plan and gather necessary inputs.
- Work with external assessor stakeholders, such as Quality & Certification and Airworthiness teams, to secure independent assessments and approvals for AJT clearances.
- Track and manage clearance baselines across complex product sets, ensuring all documentation meets the required standards.
- Participate in clearance programme reviews, ensuring all certification evidence is traceable and meets the outlined requirements.
Requirements:
- Qualification & certification processes.
- Systems Engineer experience.
- A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience / qualifications.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of JIRA Agile project management tool would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Typhoon is highly desirable.
