External Affairs Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join the External Affairs team at FSRH as a key contributor to our policy and public affairs activities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping to develop and implement our strategy to influence policy and practice in the field of sexual and reproductive healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake policy analysis and development to inform our advocacy efforts
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, healthcare professionals, and other influencers
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote our policy goals and raise awareness of SRH issues
- Contribute to the development of our policy and public affairs strategy, including identifying opportunities for influence and developing plans to achieve our goals
- Work closely with the team to ensure effective delivery of our policy and public affairs activities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex policy issues into clear and concise messages
- Strong relationships-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Experience of working in policy, public affairs, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the policy-making process
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering results
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written content
