Position Summary:
The Europe Africa business unit is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the integration of an additional brand within the UK into the primary client organization. This role involves the coordination and guidance of primarily external teams engaged in this transformation initiative, which encompasses various components such as network integration, Office365 migration, organizational change management, hosting migration and decommissioning, as well as client renewal and service integration.
There will be necessary onsite meetings and some travel to various locations. Proximity to Nottinghamshire is advantageous due to the presence of key stakeholders in the area.
While remote work is acceptable, an initial strong onsite presence in Nottingham is essential for team integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a project/program aligned with the roadmap that includes achievable deliverables.
- Operate independently and report to a governance board regarding strategic decisions.
- Establish best practice methodologies for the project(s) and oversee implementation, design, testing, and post-launch support.
- Engage stakeholders effectively to reach consensus and deliver decisive solutions.
- Guide and coordinate the formulation of transformation strategies.
- Define critical success factors, requirements, risks, work packages, and deliverables.
- Ability to work onsite in the UK and communicate effectively in English.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and a knowledge repository.
- Ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Evaluate project risks and quality to guarantee successful project execution.
- Maintain transparency in project management and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Exhibit a proactive approach and take ownership of project responsibilities.
- Prepare contingency plans for the migration of essential infrastructure components.
