About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Fraud Detection Analyst to join our international Fraud & Investigations team at Trustpilot. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing online trust and protecting consumers and businesses worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze fraud trends on our platform using advanced data analysis and SQL skills.
  • Develop and implement rules to prevent and detect fraudulent behavior, working closely with our data science experts.
  • Conduct ad-hoc investigations into escalated cases and provide expert analysis to support media, legal, and customer cases.
  • Collaborate with our engineering teams to enhance internal tools and databases, ensuring effective fraud prevention and scalability.
  • Provide expert analysis and insights to various stakeholders across the company, presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Work closely with our Lead Fraud & Investigation Analyst to drive our fraud prevention efforts forward.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • Proven experience working with large datasets and advanced data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with SQL and data visualization tools, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision-making.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for tackling complex problems and driving results.
