In this position, you will oversee air freight movements from initiation to completion, ensuring that all processes are executed effectively and in alignment with client and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize shipments in accordance with client specifications and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or quotations.
  • Create job files and schedule collections based on client needs.
  • Coordinate all bookings with the airline.
  • Ensure secure cargo tie-downs and manage the transfer to transport.
  • Prepare Master Air Waybills (MAWBs) for IATA, B2B, and consolidations.
  • Notify clients and network partners regarding shipment statuses.
  • Complete customs documentation in adherence to HMRC regulations.
  • Engage with airlines and handling agents effectively.
  • Manage a shared email inbox proficiently.
  • Address inquiries swiftly to guarantee timely shipment processing.
  • Strictly follow client SOPs.
  • Facilitate air import shipments.
  • Possess knowledge of air import customs (preferred).
  • Handle operational finance tasks, including costing and invoicing.
  • Exhibit a flexible and adaptable work approach.
  • Maintain a client-centric attitude consistently.
  • Execute any other reasonable tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Experience in air freight coordination or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and procedures (preferred).
  • Proficiency in operational finance responsibilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Client-focused mindset with a dedication to delivering outstanding service.
