Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in overseeing the effective management of production processes, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the production management team to ensure optimal intake, storage, and operational procedures are followed.
- Assist the Production Manager in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Implement rigorous quality control measures for all products dispatched, maintaining accurate records.
- Support adherence to both internal and external standards for food safety and product quality, ensuring any issues are promptly addressed.
- Maintain comprehensive production records, both digitally and manually.
- Facilitate customer blends and communications in the absence of the Production Manager.
- Oversee the recruitment and management of temporary staff during peak periods.
- Prepare for and participate in customer site visits, audits, and inspections as required.
- Ensure that risk assessments, plant procedures, and COSHH assessments are up to date.
- Coordinate training initiatives for all production personnel.
- Compile monthly overtime reports for payroll processing.
- Provide necessary training for direct reports, ensuring adequate coverage during absences.
