MARS Recruitment is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in the West Oxfordshire area. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a company that manufactures high-tech components for various industries, including motorsport, F1, automotive, aerospace, and defence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Quality and Production Control Processes to support the introduction of new products into production. This is a varied role that requires a strong understanding of geometric tolerancing, engineering drawings, and specifications.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  1. Familiarity with geometric tolerancing and ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
  2. Experience in writing clear and concise technical documents, including FMEAs, Process Flows, Control Plans, FAIRs, PPAP, Quality Alert Documents, and 8Ds.
  3. Engineering or technical background and qualification is highly desirable, with knowledge of materials science being advantageous.
  4. Experience of CMM Programming, including Faro or Romer Arm programming and operation, as well as NDT techniques.
  5. PC Literate and able to use or quickly learn packages such as SolidWorks and SAP Business One.
