Job Description

The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Packaging Designer to join our team at Launch Packaging Design. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional packaging solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop structural packaging solutions using CAD software, considering technical requirements, consumer appeal, environmental impact, and cost effectiveness.
  • Provide technical packaging consultancy, including the analysis of client briefs and the development of design concepts.
  • Manage client product data, including quality control and data management.
  • Communicate with clients and colleagues to ensure all deliverables are met as required by the client.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience working in product design, 3D design, technical design, or design engineering.
  • 2 years' experience of using CAD software, including the production of technical drawings and design documentation.
  • Minimum of undergraduate degree level qualification in a relevant field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical problem-solving skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of product data management and quality control standards.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and Adobe Suite.
  • Experience of management of client accounts and occasional travel for client site visits.
