Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse to join our Ward team at Rivers Hospital. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical outcomes in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide individualized care to our patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to our hospital's standards and policies.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences and needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by medical staff.
  • Monitor patients' progress, reporting any changes or concerns to medical staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • NMC registration.
  • Previous experience working within a surgical ward.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Flexible and positive attitude.
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character.
