Wildernesse Golf Club, a distinguished private members' golf club established in 1890, is renowned for its outstanding culinary offerings and has a rich history of hosting prestigious golf tournaments.
We are on the lookout for a skilled Sous Chef to collaborate with our dedicated kitchen brigade, crafting a diverse range of contemporary and classic British cuisine infused with European flair. The successful candidate should possess a Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification, a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, and a strong commitment to producing exceptional dishes.
Key Duties:
- Support the Head Chef in the development and presentation of dishes for various functions
- Oversee daily kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
- Guide and train junior kitchen staff while upholding food safety standards
- Keep abreast of culinary trends and assist in menu development
Compensation Package:
- Attractive salary between £30,000 and £34,000 annually
This full-time, permanent role requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays. Alongside a competitive salary, the position offers holiday entitlement, life insurance, and contributions to a pension plan.
