About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to join our team at Staffline. As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our facilities, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the distribution centre, including grounds maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, and housekeeping.
  • Perform exterior groundwork, including strimming, leaf clearance, and litter collection.
  • Empty litter bins, clean drains and gullies, and move snow when required.
  • Process the disposal of waste using compacting equipment.
  • Liaise with the facilities team to arrange repairs and record maintenance activities.
  • Support the program of planned maintenance and uphold health and safety standards.
  • Forward any concerns to the management team.
Requirements
  • Good attention to detail and timekeeping skills.
  • High cleaning standards and ability to work independently.
  • Desirable experience in a similar role, but full training will be provided.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44, increasing to £11.64 after 12 weeks of service.
  • Overtime available at £14.25 per hour on weekdays and Saturdays, and £19 per hour on Sundays.
  • A full-time role with fixed shifts, working 8am to 4pm.
  • Free car parking on site and good links to public transport.
  • Uniform and PPE provided.
  • Full training provided.
