Credit Risk Specialist - Wholesale IRB Modelling

About the Company

Harnham is a leading boutique consultancy with a strong presence in the financial services space. We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Specialist to join our team and contribute to our growth and strategy.

The Role

  • Develop and implement IRB models for wholesale clients, focusing on PD, LGD, and EAD.
  • Conduct stress testing, ICAAP, and ILAAP reviews to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Lead analytical deep-dives into model performance and statistical trends to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver end-to-end projects and drive business outcomes.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to contribute to the company's strategy and growth.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in IRB model development and wholesale lending.
  • Strong knowledge of SAS, SQL, or Python programming languages.
  • Regulatory knowledge and a strong academic background in a numerical subject.

Salary and Benefits

  • Up to £90,000 base salary.
  • Discretionary bonus and pension contribution scheme.
