Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our Core Therapies team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and work in a variety of exciting specialisms, including critical care, neurosurgery, stroke, orthopaedics, medicine, surgery, and MSK.

Main Duties

As a Band 5 Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver therapy services. Your duties will include:

  • Communicating and collaborating with all Core Therapies stakeholders
  • Supporting personal and people development
  • Ensuring the health, safety, and security of users of the service, self, and colleagues
  • Supporting service development and planning
  • Supporting the Clinical Governance and Quality agenda within the service
  • Supporting equality of opportunity and access within Core Therapy services for both staff and patients
  • Supporting financial and other resource management within Core Therapies
  • Providing and using information to support admin processes and patient care
  • Directly supporting the delivery of therapy to patients
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Is HCPC registered
  • Has a Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Is committed to CPD

Desirable criteria include:

  • Membership of the CSP
  • Clinical Educator
  • Relevant clinical courses/education
