Job Title: Medical Information Strategist

At Merz Aesthetics UK and Ireland, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Information Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Information Department, you will play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality medical information service to external customers and internal colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of the Medical Information Department, aligning with industry best-practice and developments.
  • Ensure the department fully complies with GDP, medical device directive guidance, and ABPI code of practice.
  • Update and maintain compliance with medical information SOPs.
  • Deliver responses to medical information inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain standard response letters, FAQs, and medical information content for each product.
  • Lead the Medical Information and PV team, ensuring individual and departmental knowledge is up-to-date with relevant medical information and pharmacovigilance changes and best practice.
  • Maintain the Medical Information system, ensuring IT systems function correctly and meet departmental needs.
  • Liaise with global teams on the implementation of IT systems.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in medical information (desirable).
  • Reviewer of medical and marketing materials (mandatory).
  • Analytical skills with the ability to understand and simplify complex medical messages.
  • Ability to use all situations as potential learning opportunities, be flexible, and agile, and deliver different and better solutions.
