About the Role

We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our team at Kent County Council. As a social worker, you will be responsible for working with children and families to provide support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage complex cases involving children and families
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the needs of children and families
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families
  • Provide support and guidance to children and families to help them achieve their goals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve the lives of children and families

Requirements

  • Qualified social worker with a degree in social work (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
  • Ability to manage complex cases and prioritize tasks effectively

Working Arrangements

  • Full UK driving license required
