Job Summary:
Rullion Limited is seeking a skilled Quotations and Proposals Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our AM Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering quote packages to customers, working closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
About the Role:
- Support and interact with customers and sales teams throughout the bid process.
- Help customers understand minimum requirements defining the RfQ package, and define project scope in consultation with customers and MSL.
- Liaise with customers and technical experts to help develop product definitions.
- Take ownership of opportunities from bid decision to quote submission.
- Identify subcon requirements and liaise with subcontractors at quoting stage.
- Provide ROM quotes, business case calculations to internal and external sales teams.
- Receive inputs from cross-functional teams to develop costing and understanding technical challenges.
- Complete formal quote documentation and provide quote package to sales teams.
- Maintain and manage quote process and tools.
Requirements:
- Experience of engineering or sales within a manufacturing business.
- Experience generating project proposals and costing.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and employed manufacturing methods.
- Experience in customer-facing roles.
- Project management experience would be beneficial.
- Basic experience in CAD packages at a minimum (NX or similar).
- Experience with Additive manufacturing preparation suites (Magics or similar) would be beneficial.
- Competent in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Comfortable discussing, explaining, and debating complex technical problems with customers and local manufacturing and engineering teams.
About the Team:
You will work within the AM engineering team at Materials Solutions in Worcester, closely collaborating with local and global sales teams, quality, operations, and production engineering.
