The successful candidate will possess significant expertise in overseeing and maintaining intricate IT ecosystems, ensuring the seamless functionality of client infrastructures. This position requires a profound technical acumen, adeptness in troubleshooting complex technical challenges, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-level support for both Windows and macOS platforms, guaranteeing peak performance and dependability.
- Oversee and manage Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including Conditional Access, Azure AD Connect, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and AutoPilot.
- Set up, maintain, and resolve issues within Windows Server environments, focusing on Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS.
- Administer Backup/Replication solutions utilizing Veeam to ensure data security and accessibility.
- Support and manage virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V, ensuring optimal resource allocation and high availability.
- Diagnose and rectify networking challenges related to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN, with practical experience in Cisco, Mikrotik, FortiNet, Draytek, Ubiquiti, and Juniper technologies.
- Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line support teams to address escalated issues, providing expert insights and resolutions.
- Engage in the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations and successful project delivery.
- Maintain thorough documentation of client environments, technical processes, and solutions to issues.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a 3rd Line IT support role, with a solid foundation in both Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, encompassing the complete suite of tools and services.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server environments, including the configuration and support of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS.
- Hands-on experience with Backup/Replication technologies, particularly Veeam.
- Expertise in managing virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, with experience in supporting various networking technologies including Cisco, Mikrotik, FortiNet, Draytek, Ubiquiti, and Juniper.
- Exceptional troubleshooting abilities with a knack for resolving intricate technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
