Job Purpose

As a Day Shift Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse during the day shift. You will lead and motivate a team of dedicated individuals responsible for processing parcels, managing returns, and preparing shipments for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of up to 30 direct reports, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor and analyze performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and security regulations within the warehouse.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments, including transportation and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in managing and motivating teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management.
