Are you a seasoned culinary professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious independent boarding school in Manchester.
As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and overseeing the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services to our students and staff. You will have the opportunity to shape the food culture in our school and work with a talented team of chefs to create delicious and nutritious meals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of chefs to deliver high-quality food and beverage services
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our students and staff
- Manage food costs and inventory to ensure efficient use of resources
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and deliver special events and functions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
