About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinician to lead our Allied Health Integrated Musculoskeletal Services (IMSK) across North Cumbria. As the Head of IMSK Services, you will be responsible for promoting the best life-long MSK related health, delivering a clinically led, fully integrated end-to-end MSK pathway that is high quality, safe, person-centred, and highly efficient & effective.

The successful candidate will have extensive post-registration experience working at a senior level within the speciality area, with a strong track record of managing people and financial resources. They will also have experience of business planning, including developing and producing business plans and budgetary management.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified member of a National MSK Body, with a postgraduate MSc in a relevant field and accredited Advanced MSK Practitioner status. They will also have a strong understanding of current NHS policy and its implications for professional practice.

The role will involve working across all seven days of the week, extended hours and bank holidays, and the post holder must be able to comprehend and work within the Trust's policies of data protection, equal opportunities and health and safety.
