Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Fabric Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Hatched Recruitment UK. As a Fabric Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on a wide range of fabric and engineering assets across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on fabric and engineering assets, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in compliance with company standards and contractual obligations.
  • Carry out Legionella control and monitoring activities, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Inspect and repair floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, doors, windows, and associated furniture, ensuring all assets are in good working condition.
  • Inspect, repair, and replace luminaries and clear drainage/gully systems, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained.
  • Assist engineering staff with various duties as needed, providing support to ensure smooth operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform painting, re-decorating, and hanging of pictures, signs, and notices, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement proactive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fabric maintenance and repair.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
