HSB Technical Ltd specializes in recruitment across various sectors including Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy, and Aerospace. We are currently seeking candidates for permanent and contract roles with esteemed organizations both in the UK and internationally.

Role Overview:
The Instrumentation Pipe Technician will be responsible for the construction and installation of small bore tubing systems, which may take place offshore or within a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret engineering schematics, both hydraulic and pneumatic, with precision.
  • Possess a solid understanding of hydraulic instrument fittings and threading.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the selection and installation of hydraulic and pneumatic instruments and components.
  • Have experience with small bore tubing pressure ratings and assembly techniques.
  • Work with fixed hose assemblies effectively.

Additionally, the technician will be expected to:
  • Create comprehensive service reports and maintain meticulous records.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including test procedures, risk assessments, and toolbox talks, to a high standard.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Proven experience working offshore with appropriate certifications.
  • Time-served pipe fitter with instrumentation experience.
  • Relevant qualifications in pipe fitting.
