Job Title: Early Years Assessor

We are seeking an experienced Childcare and Education professional to join our team at the National Skills Agency.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners in their early years childcare journey. This role requires a strong understanding of childcare and education principles, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and support learners in their early years childcare journey
  • Plan and deliver high-quality tuition sessions
  • Identify and address learner strengths and weaknesses
  • Maintain up-to-date CPD and attend delivery meetings
  • Work collaboratively with the IQA to develop and implement actions
Requirements
  • Adult teaching qualification (Certificate in Level 3 Education in Training or equivalent)
  • Assessor qualification (CAVA or equivalent)
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare or alternatively up to and including Level 5
  • Teaching Assistant experience
Desirable Skills
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of ongoing developments within the occupational area
