About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Dental Nurses to join our Special Care Dental Service team. This role involves providing specialized dental care to adults and children with additional needs across various settings, including hospitals, community clinics, and domiciliary care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Consultants, Specialists, Dental Officers, and Dental Therapists to ensure seamless service delivery and high standards of patient care.
- Maintain accurate, computerized, and paper dental records for patients.
- Provide comprehensive dental treatment and support to patients with diverse needs, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by fostering teamwork and effective communication.
Essential Requirements
- National Diploma in Dental Nursing (ONEBDN) or equivalent qualification, with post-qualification experience preferred.
- Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Demonstrated proficiency in dental procedures and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
