Finance Manager Opportunity

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team. As a key member of the finance function, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial health and ensuring efficient financial operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take a lead role in ensuring efficient financial operations across the business
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed monthly management reports and offer commentary on areas of interest
  • Supervise the accounts payable, receivable, and credit control functions
  • Highlight areas and ideas for improved financial performance
  • Finance analysis and highlight areas to minimize potential risk
  • Work closely alongside the directors on projects and day-to-day operations
  • Assist with statutory account procedures
  • VAT reporting
  • Supervise the outsourced payroll function
  • Assist in training and developing members of the finance team

This is a highly varied role with a large breadth of responsibility. The successful candidate will be an experienced finance professional with several years of high-level finance exposure and ideally experience in managing a small team. The company has invested heavily in technology and confidence in using cloud-based accounting platforms would be preferable.
