Private Client Tax Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of private clients, trusts, and partnerships, delivering exceptional client service and producing work efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Annual Tax Returns: Oversee the preparation and submission of annual tax returns for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Liaise with HM Revenue & Customs: Communicate with HMRC on behalf of clients, resolving any issues or queries that may arise.
- Personal Tax Assignments: Handle a diverse range of personal tax assignments, including tax forecasting, residence and domicile considerations, capital gains tax, planning, and enquiry work.
- Client Service: Address client issues and queries promptly, maintaining regular contact with clients to ensure their needs are met.
- Billing and Administration: Manage billing responsibilities for your portfolio of clients, trusts, and partnerships, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive business growth.
- Training and Supervision: Train and supervise junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Strong Team Player: Demonstrate a strong team mentality, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- Qualifications: Hold a Qualified Tax Advisor (ATT/CTA) or equivalent qualification, or be qualified by experience.
- Private Client Experience: Possess significant experience in a private client/personal tax environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Technical Skills: Be proficient in tax preparation software and HMRC online services, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate confident and adaptable communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong client service orientation.
