About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Citi's Global Markets division as a Markets Risk Analyst, AVP London. As a key member of the In-Business Risk (IBR) team, you will play a critical role in establishing a holistic understanding of market risk and capital of the aggregated trading portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement FRTB (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book): Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line teams to ensure the implementation is commercial, sustainable, and in line with regulatory expectations.
  • Support IBR Team: Identify critical gaps and execute gap closure in line with regulatory commitments.
  • Develop Data Analytics Tools: Work with technology, quants, and asset class IBR teams to develop data analytics tools that enhance efficiency for 1st risk management.
  • Hands-on Data Analysis: Analyze data and explain FRTB and other risk metrics drivers.
Requirements
  • Trading/Market Risk Experience: Required experience in trading/market risks or previous experience in a quantitative or risk function.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Python and SQL programming skills, experience with Big data Apache Hadoop, and proficiency in Tableau/PowerBI or other dashboard tools.
  • Financial Acumen: Thorough financial acumen and P&L management experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, motivational, interpersonal skills, and relationship management skills.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: Intellectual curiosity, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
