About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated JML Technician to join our team. As a JML Technician, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end support for the Joiners, Movers and Leavers process, escalated issues, user engagement, and other IT support activities in a rapidly changing IT environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the end-to-end Joiners, Movers and Leavers process, including user account creation, amendments, and deletions, laptop build, procurement, and applicable asset and license management.
- Elevate first-line JML support for UK&I employees, logging and escalating calls within the ticketing system, and responding to tickets logged into the systems by end-users.
- Collaborate with the JML Team Leader and the business to deliver exceptional customer service, effective response times, and provide expert insight into general support issues, enforcing quality of service guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of internal IT procedures for the business.
- Assist in creating new user accounts, changes/leavers, and associated setups.
- Provide support to business users when setting up end-user equipment, including legacy equipment not under contractual support with third parties.
- Offer training to end-users when logging onto/accessing end-user equipment for the first time.
- Maintain awareness of Information Security practices, reporting issues and concerns to the JML Team Leader.
- Customer-focused with the ability to develop mutually beneficial, trusting long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Analytical and comfortable decision-making, making good decisions based on sound analysis despite incomplete or conflicting data.
