As a Senior Risk Manager at Turner & Townsend, you will play a key role in delivering better outcomes for our clients, helping our people to realize their potential, and contributing to the creation of a prosperous society.
Our business is looking for a client-facing Risk Consultant with experience of consulting on Construction Infrastructure projects, and liaising with a variety of stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities- Implement and Support Integrated Risk Management: Develop and implement integrated risk management strategies across major capital programs or projects.
- Lead Risk Commissions: Manage teams and lead risk commissions to ensure effective risk management.
- Monitor Risk Exposure: Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget or retirement of threat/opportunity.
- Assess Contractor Responsibility Risks: Work with the supply chain to assess contractor responsibility risks and their views on client risks that could impact their ability to deliver.
- Produce Risk Reports: Produce and present fit-for-purpose risk reports, in a timely manner, to support the effective communication of threat & opportunity status and required senior management action.
- Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessments: Conduct quantitative risk assessments (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency and time risk allowance levels.
- Present Key Risk Findings: Present key risk findings to clients, including assurance of supply chain risk management performance.
- Commission Management: Manage commissions and develop and deliver risk services.
- Strong Knowledge of Quantitative Schedule Risk Assessments: Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Quantitative Schedule Risk Assessments and Quantitative Cost Risk Assessments (QRSA's and QRCA's).
- Experience with Risk Management Software: Have used software such as Primavera Risk Analysis, @risk, and/or Safran.
- Developing and Implementing Integrated Risk Management Solutions: Have a working understanding of developing and implementing integrated risk management solutions across portfolios, programs, and projects.
- Risk and Scenario Analysis Workshop Facilitation: Have experience of facilitating risk and scenario analysis workshops.
- Strong Understanding of Project Controls Methodology: Have a strong understanding of Project Controls methodology and risk management interactions.
- Senior Management Engagement: Have experience of senior management engagement on risk management.
- IRM/APM Risk Certified: IRM/APM risk certified candidates are preferred.
