Opportunity for a Skilled Decorator
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Decorator to join our Isle of Wight Maintenance team. This role offers the chance to contribute to a variety of projects while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply paint finishes to various surfaces, including walls, floors, doors, and cabinets
- Prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring a smooth and even finish
- Calculate material requirements accurately
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures
- Trade qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) in decorating
- Full UK driving license
- DBS check
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Decorator
- Competency in plastering techniques
- Secondary skill competence is desirable
