Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Assistant with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our team. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving high-quality meals, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality meals to students and staff
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with the catering team to achieve high-quality service standards
  • Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Experience working in a food service or catering environment
  • Good health and safety knowledge and practices
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
