As a Senior Ecologist at RSK Ireland, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality ecological services to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Project management and oversight, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Leading and mentoring junior ecologists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality ecological reports and surveys.
- Developing and implementing ecological impact assessments, protected species surveys, and biodiversity management plans.
- Providing technical advice and guidance to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Collaborating with colleagues to deliver projects, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve project goals.
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging science, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or vocation qualification.
- Several years of experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality ecological services.
- Full UK/Irish driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Membership of CIEEM, with a level commensurate with experience.
- Ability to work well within a team, mentor junior colleagues, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £31,000 - £42,000 / €36,000 - €48,700 DOE.
