The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician to join our Design Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and providing design support to colleagues and clients. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with design teams to produce detailed technical drawings
  • Assist in the production of drawings and designs, ensuring they meet CAD quality standards
  • Maintain and update the drawing register to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Produce fully developed CAD drawings for authorizing construction and installation
  • Provide design support to colleagues and clients, ensuring drawings are accurate and up-to-date
  • Participate in discussions and produce as-laid drawings in line with operational team requirements
Requirements
  • Proven track record of understanding and determining information from drawings, standards, and specifications
  • Ability to deliver to timescales, working to a weekly program drafted by others
  • Competent use of AutoCAD
