Job Opportunity: SOC Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SOC Analyst to join our diverse SOC Operations team at Proactive Appointments. As a SOC Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring and responding to security incidents, ensuring the integrity and security of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to security incidents using Microsoft Sentinel and ticket system.
  • Participate in shifts for a 24hr service coverage rota, including overnight and weekend hours.
  • Follow processes for Incident, Problem, and Service request management based on ITIL practices.
  • Manage SOC tools, configurations, and updates.
  • Collaborate with the Cyber Security Analyst Team to identify and mitigate potential security threats.

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Sentinel operations and administration experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender XDR operations and administration.
  • Knowledge of Graylog SIEM and Azure cloud services administration.
  • Understanding of Networking and Networking Services, including DNS, SSL, Domains, IP, and routing.
  • Experience with Cloudflare administration and programming/scripting languages such as C#, Go, Python, and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of hybrid AAD/EntraID and on-premises AD.
