Key Responsibilities of a Culinary Team Associate:

As a Culinary Team Associate, you will engage in various customer-facing duties throughout the hostel, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests and visitors.

This role primarily emphasizes catering responsibilities, but you may also assist in other areas of the hostel. Here are some tasks you may undertake:

  • Adhering strictly to food hygiene standards in food storage, preparation, and service.
  • Upholding health and safety regulations, ensuring timely completion of kitchen inspections.
  • Taking pride in the preparation, presentation, and delivery of high-quality meals.
  • Accurately recording food wastage according to hostel procedures, focusing on minimizing waste to enhance profitability.
  • Serving food and beverages with warmth and hospitality, engaging in genuine conversations, and suggesting meal options to create an inclusive dining experience.

Desired Skills and Experience for a Culinary Team Associate:

While previous experience in a customer-facing role is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement for our Culinary Team Associates. Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.

Strong communication skills and punctuality are essential.
