Financial Management Role

Pratap Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the finance function, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the manufacturing division.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare accurate and timely Management Information, including monthly Management Accounts.
  2. Liaise with other department managers on financial and operational matters.
  3. Reconcile cost value contracts and maintain production planning order books.
  4. Oversee the smooth operation of the accounts department, including supplier payments, weekly wage processing, credit control, and VAT and statutory payments.
  5. Manage a team of two staff members and ensure full balance sheet control account reconciliation.
  6. Prepare the Annual Budget and periodic reforecasts.
  7. Coordinate the year-end Audit Pack and liaise with auditors.
  8. Provide ad hoc reports and analysis as required.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Accountant or equivalent experience.
  2. Manufacturing or construction experience.
  3. Advanced Excel and analysis skills.
  4. High level of attention to detail.
  5. Ability to lead and inspire colleagues to drive financial optimization.
