Yolk Recruitment is partnering with a leading FMCG manufacturer in Port Talbot to find an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business that is at the forefront of automated manufacturing.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical support and knowledge on all lines within the plant.

You will utilize and enhance your skills in electrical fault-finding techniques to test and repair production machinery.

PLC fault finding and modification using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs are also key aspects of this role.

Ensuring maximum machine availability at least cost through effective planned preventative maintenance schedules is crucial.

You will work closely with other plant engineers and team leaders to achieve machine maintenance hours on planned work.

Compliance and safety are top priorities, and you will ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner with H&S in mind at all times.

You will also play an active role in the planning, controlling, and overseeing of your day-to-day routines and inspections.

A Total Quality Approach will be implemented across the site, and you will contribute to this.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a HNC qualification in an engineering field and 2 years' experience of hands-on maintenance in an FMCG production environment.

A knowledge of Siemens/Allen Bradley control systems with the ability to interrogate the software to diagnose faults is essential.
