About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Care South, a leading provider of residential care services. As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular checks on residents to identify their needs and abilities, and provide person-centered care to meet their individual requirements.
- Support residents to maintain their independence, promoting their autonomy and dignity at all times.
- Provide elements of personal care, including washing and undressing, as needed, and assist with mobility and positioning.
- Build strong relationships with residents, providing companionship and emotional support to enhance their overall well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, promoting a sense of community and social interaction.
Requirements
- A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
- Natural compassion and understanding of others.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
