Position Overview

Are you driven to make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents facing mental health challenges? This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated Mental Health Support Team as a Clinical Team Leader.

The Clinical Team Leader will hold comprehensive clinical and operational responsibility, ensuring the quality of care and clinical activities. This includes offering professional guidance, clinical advice, and management in alignment with health care quality standards. The aim is to guarantee that the interventions provided by the team are safe, effective, and tailored to meet the needs of individuals, families, and communities, in accordance with local and national development strategies and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

The role encompasses:

  • Providing clinical supervision and quality assurance.
  • Managing locality teams and overseeing their performance.
  • Collaborating with key external partners and fostering relationships between the Mental Health Support Team and educational institutions.
  • Contributing to the delivery of services that uphold clinical and quality governance, ensuring the needs of children and young people are prioritized.
  • Coordinating services to promote optimal health, self-management, and effective communication among agencies, ensuring a personalized approach to service users.
  • Managing a personal caseload that includes delivering early interventions and conducting mental health assessments for young individuals, including those with complex needs.
